After
a mechanical filtration, the CleanBooster degreasing solution flows
through the CleanFilter (filtering drain). This filter is seeded
with bacteria which feed on grease (hydrocarbon chains). The product
is then continuously bio-regulated as for example in a water-treatment
station.

These micro-organisms
( non pathogenic, mesophilic bacteria) are present everywhere in
nature, they ensure the biodegradation of grease and oil.
To be efficient,
the bio regulation process needs :
- Oxygen
- water
- a specific temperature
- nutrients (that contain phosphorus, nitrogen)
All these elements
put together allow bacteria to cut hydrocarbon chains. They need
to feed on oil and grease the reaction for their equilibrium.
The complete
transformation of these hydrocarbon chains into water and CO2 is
called biodegradation The degreasing solution ( CleanBooster) is
then purified by flowing through the filtering drain. Being in contact
with the hydrocarbon chains and in the presence of oxygen, the bacteria
ensure the transformation. As this cycle is continuous, the solution
is self-purifying and self-regulating.
